After our experiment with Ruby on Rails for the past couple years, nvzion has been ported back to PHP. RoR was just too slow and tended to crash way too much for our liking. Yii Framework proved to be such a success when we used it to develop blocSonic.com that it was immediately obvious that it would have to be used for nvzion!
The move back to PHP will encourage regular site updates once again since the administrative functionality won't be slowed to a crawl by the back-end. So you can expect project additions from work that’s been completed over the past couple years.
